1. The short version

We collect the little we need to run Business Invoices: your account details, the invoices and client records you create, and basic technical information. We do not sell your data, and we do not use your invoices or client lists for advertising.

2. What we collect

  • Account details: your username, display name and password (stored only as a secure hash).
  • Content you create: invoices, line items, notes, client records such as company name, contact person, address, email, phone and tax numbers, and any logo you upload.
  • Messages you send us through the contact form: your name, email, company and message.
  • Technical information needed to serve the site, such as your IP address and browser type, kept in server logs.

3. How we use it

  • To provide the service: saving your invoices and clients, showing them back to you, producing print views, and keeping your workspace private.
  • To keep the service secure and working, including preventing abuse and fixing faults.
  • To reply to you when you contact us.

4. Who can see your data

  • Your workspace is private to your account. Nobody else sees your invoices or clients unless you give their account access from the Account page, and you can remove that access at any time.
  • We use service providers to host the website and the application and to send email. They process data only on our instructions.
  • We may disclose information if the law requires it.
  • We do not sell or rent your personal data.

5. Client details you enter

  • When you add a client, you are entering someone else’s details. You remain responsible for having a lawful reason to hold those details and for keeping them accurate.
  • We process that information on your behalf, only to provide the service to you.

6. Cookies

The application uses a cookie to keep you signed in. This website uses only the cookies WordPress needs to work; it does not run advertising trackers.

7. How long we keep it

  • We keep your content for as long as your account is open. Deleted invoices go to the Trash, where you can restore them or delete them permanently.
  • When an account is closed we delete or anonymise its content, except where we must keep records to meet a legal obligation.

8. Your rights

  • Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask for a copy of your data, to correct it, to delete it, or to object to how we use it.
  • You can edit or delete your invoices and clients directly in the app at any time, and print or save any invoice as a PDF. To make a request about anything else, contact us using the details below.

9. Security

Passwords are stored as hashes, access is limited to your workspace, and traffic to the site is encrypted. No service can promise perfect security, so please use a strong, unique password.

10. Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we will update this page and the date at the top.
